I am a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to 5 amazing kids. I grew up in Northern Michigan, with a brief stint in Florida before returning home to be near family. My father worked for over 20 years in irrigation, while my mother and stepfather owned an archery shop and later started various businesses, including resale shops, a photography business, and a moving company. As for me, I began my career as an Office Manager at my uncle’s marina, gaining experience in invoicing and customer relations, then moved into Human Resources at a local factory.

At my uncle’s marina, I learned about the daily struggles of invoicing, payroll, job profitability, upselling, and customer relationships. This is where I first felt that spark of passion for getting things in order. Later, when my mom’s photography business took off, she needed help organizing her customer payments. Between deposits, discounts, promotions, and gift cards, she needed a clear understanding of who owed what and when. I knew I could help her. When my stepfather’s company expanded, he needed help with payroll, bookkeeping, and tax filing. I wanted to help him right away, but I was already stretched thin helping my mom out while working full-time. I decided it was time for a change - and a lot more training. 

This led to the creation of Clark Accounting Solutions and, after completing numerous CPE hours and earning certifications, I decided it was time to go public. I am now a tax preparer enrolled in the IRS’s Annual Filing Season Program and a certified bookkeeper. I am currently pursuing my Enrolled Agent certification - the highest certification the IRS offers. 

My firm offers bookkeeping, payroll, and tax prep services. We have developed a very secure and smooth workflow. Clients benefit from a dedicated portal for seamless, secure communication and access to financial reports, allowing them to manage their finances on their own schedule without lengthy meetings. We offer multiple bookkeeping plans from weekly to quarterly.
